Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Bannu organizes the 9th class annual exams and 10th class annual exams every year in the months of March and April. Thousands of regular and private students residing in the districts under the jurisdiction of BISE Bannu appear in these matric level annual exams. All the public and private schools and colleges in these areas are affiliated with Bannu Board while written and practical papers for these exams are held separately by the board. BISE Bannu conducts written papers of SSC part 1 annual exams and SSC part 2 annual exams in the month of March while the practical papers of 9th class annual exams and 10th class annual exams are held during the month of April.

Bannu Board issues the date sheet 2023 of matric annual exams few months before the start of the exams in January or February. The date sheet 2023 is soon available at the official site of BISE Bannu while the students can view and also download the date sheet from the site. Soon after the announcement of date sheet, the students start the preparation or revision of their exams according to the examination schedule and time table provided in the date sheet.
